Who's goin to Summerfest?

The woman and I are gonna be going Thursday to see Nonpoint at 6 on the JJO stage. Then probably hang out for a bit and see how it is this year. Not sure of other days we'll be going yet, there's a few bands I'd like to see but don't know if we're going. I.e Sevendust on Friday, Alkaline Trio the 2nd, Seether the 4th(but I think we'll be up north) and some other random stuff I'd like to see.

Who else is going? Figure if there's enough people we could meet up, hang out, do whatever there is to do. I know there's a pull up contest thing by the USMC booth... BCM Pull up contest?? lol

Since I'm a n00b, is there anything else to do at Summerfest (besides drink)? Just wondering how early to get there. Someone told me once you leave you can't get back in.

^^^ I guess it depends on your definition of 'good' but I think Summerfest in general is GREAT, and we are lucky to have it here in Milwaukee. Sure people will complain about something here and there but most wouldn't be happy if they didn't have something to b!tch about.....:durr

As far as how early to get there is up to you, but I know this is there re-entry policy: Wristbands to leave and re-enter the festival are available at all gate areas from Noon until 6:30 pm daily. Re-entry wristbands will be valid for a single, same day re-entry until 7:00 pm. No re-entry wristbands will be issued after 6:30 pm and no re-entries after 7:00 pm.

If you've never been down there just go and check it out, you have to experience it to really see what it's all about. You may like it you may not, but you won't know if you don't go.....:thumbsup

I may go tonight but, i'm definately pre drinking before I even step foot in that place. I also have a free ticket. Oh and my wife was telling me about these people that work for miller that all there job is, is to go to summerfest and drink and make sure the bartenders aren't given away free beer. So pretty much you just get paid to drink and eat food and hang out all day. Anyone know how I can get this job???

seriously though they do have that. I guess theres a black line on the beer cups to where they CANNOT fill it over that line. Thats basically what they look for. And like I said checking to make sure none of the employees are giving out free beers to their friends.
