Okay, let's try this again... posting this earlier in the hopes that more people see it. Who wants to meet up tonight weather permitting and so forth. I'm not real familiar with the usual gathering spots (other than Culvers) so let's throw out some times and places.

I won't be able to be out until after about 7:30 because I won't be back from swimming lessons until after that. I also unfortunately won't be able to stay out real late because I work tomorrow morning, but I would like to start putting some more faces to names and so forth. I think I've only met a couple of people in person thus far.

31mpg!! The Cummins is resting in the driveway while i get to put miles on the corolla! I love it....




BTW: I got it for a 1k so less then i thought i was going to pay, and by adding a beater onto my insurance and making that my full time driver my insurance went on the truck from 2k a year to 800 a year!!! Then add in the Corolla's insurance (im guessing its 400/year, havent got the bill yet) 1200/year versus the 2k that almost pays for the car itself :headbang

I think I'm just going to start telling people "it runs exactly what I tell it to run". :rolleyes: It's an irritating question, but I do my best to be nice. Maybe I'll just keep telling people my old BPU times... keeps them guessing. :D Not that I'm out to hustle anyone... like you Dave I'm pretty much only a fun-runner. I'm not out to start taking money from people. Make too many enemies that way. I can tell you it's probably going to be a while before my car "officially" runs 11.499 or faster because I've no interest in putting a cage in it anytime soon.

Ew...4:30. Eff that! Yeah, as soon as you pulled out from the side street, I said to my buddy "hey, I know that car!" Wheels were a dead giveaway.

One of these days I'll put something other than stock rims on it, but thats pretty low on the priority list.
