Windsors 03 Cobra

So at 2 am this morning people started packing the street at 12th and Vliet in Milwaukee in hopes of getting "FREE FOOD VOUCHERS".
By 9am 2500 people had gathered and were told that the event was intended for flood ravaged folks to apply for food vouchers, not for any old street bum/dead beat to come and get a free load of groceries. :rolf
A NEAR RIOT OCCURED and some folks reporting being pushed over and trampled as the Marcia P. Coggs Human Services Center was stormed by unruly patrons and revelers.
Milwaukee police Department spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz said Vliet St., between N. 12th and N. 13th streets, is blocked and barricades have been installed so people are able to line up around the block of the building.
She did not believe that police had made any arrests, nor were people being asked to leave.
"We want to make sure people stay here in an orderly fashion so they can get what they came to get," she said. "We're still trying to figure out why so many people showed up."
