What I saw this weekend while apartment hunting...
The Royal Enfield featured in the "Me & my bike" section of the January issue of Motorcyclist. A gorgeous; I mean *gorgeous* cafe'd Yamaha 650. It was gorgeous. An old Norton, newer VFR, and Speed Triple all having coffee together. A Ducati GT1000. A CB350, CB360, and an unknown make model two stroke twin. Also two Kawasaki two stroke triples.
All these bikes in the same neighbor hood except one of the Kawi triples. People were looking at ME like I was the douche on the cookie cutter bike the same way I look at guys on CBR600's. It was awesome. I cannot wait to move into this neighborhood.
And a '61 Imperial. Not at or being driven to/from a car show. Dude drove it to the store to get smokes because it's his car. And a '32 ford rat rod and an old Honda CX650.
