god damn shit left me stranded in a parking lot for 45min...
any way to fix this shit.... the security light stays on and it goes off after 3 min then i try it again........

is it the chip in the key or the ignition it self?

It can be the RAP or the PCM as well as a relay or the contacts for the key...

Luckily, you can disable the entire system all together...

There's a write up to bypass it on LS1tech but can't remember the details. Just search for it and it is pretty simple from what I remember.

yeah you have to wire in some resistores in the ignition.... i would rather not do that...

**** it.. its going to the dealership tuesday morning.......gonna see if i can borrow a G8 will they check it out....

well they said it was the key and i got a new one for $25.99 plus the $94 just for them to look at it... at least it wasn't the ignition.. that woulda cost me $275.......
