i know its a long shot and no one probably is, but is anyone or know anyone who is parting out a mark three (1993-1998) jetta vr6?...
my alternator broke ((one of the screw holes broke or something.)) in the process of putting it back on and now i gotta get another one. nick went to a junkyard to get one, but tested it at autozone and it didn't work. they are going to try to use both alternators and make one work... but i was just seeing if anyone on here knows anyone who might be able to help and get my car running :thumbsup
thanks guys/gals

Most (IF NOT ALL) junkyards suck the BIG ONE...!!!

Back on subject: try Craigslist or a Jetta forum, I always prefer to deal with a private party opposed to the 'evil' junkyard.....:headbang

Roz is a bunch of ass clowns every time I've gone in there. Guess it depends who you talk to.

I was there when this happened and I would think that you would be able to make it work by combinding the good parts from the two altenators together.
