i was happy with tonight, i ended up having the complete wrong gear in my sled but i got the chassis and motor dialed in, next time out will be in the 9's for sure. I had fun running against a busa all night, i think we split 2 to 2.

I already have a Dana S60 in the trunk of my caprice. :headbang

Looks like the rear might be ok, I destroyed the driveshaft and torque arm though. I pulled everything but I didn't pull the cover off the rear yet. I turn the yoke by hand and no funny sounds, though.

The Dana comes with a driveshaft. Well, not really but you have to buy a custom one or have yours shortened by 1.625" (and now there's really no sense in paying money to modify a stock driveshaft to fit a $2000 rear).

I have a spare stock torque arm though, but I am thinking about upgrading that too. Glad it chewed up a stock driveshaft (if it was the first part that broke) and not my nice Strange one.
