Hi All,
I just thought I would post a couple pictures of my Lil Boo racing and a pic after her first place finish in May. Her average reaction time was .041 for 9 rounds. Wouldn't we all like to be that good?:thumbsup Tech Info..... the car weighs 235 lbs dry. Makes almost 50hp @ 8,800 rpm. 1.66 60 ft, 7.90 @ 83 mph with timing taken out and 45 lbs in the weight tank. Ultimate setup would run about 7:30 @ 87 mph. Oh yea, 1/8 mile

It depends on how deep you want to get! a couple of my buddies ran them! you can get a slow starter car for $1,500 if you can find one all the way up to probably $15,000! My buddy just sold his for $10,000! Plus a trailer/transportation and suit etc..

Way to much if you want to be consistant and fast. Building the car to go 14s in the 1/8th mile with up-dated equipment cost us about $5,000.00 Then went to an alcohol engine and that update with clutch (used) was over a $1,500.00 (ran 10:90et). Then when Boo graduated 8th grade I bought her a 3-1/2" bore alcohol engine that was over 5 Gs with the clutch and other items (runs 7:90et). Along with fuel (for transport) & entry fee's around 1,200.00 a year. Add a trailer and what ever else you want to go with it and it adds up real quick.:wow

All that said, Boo was at it again yesterday. In the dial in contest she dialed a 7:93 and ran 7:938. In the points race she went to the final and placed second. In the semi final round she had a 7:90 dial and ran a perfect 7:900 that was very cool ! That was only the third time I have seen that in five years. In the trophy race she went to the semi's and placed third. She went home with two trophy's and a prize....... She's my "Boo" :thumbsup

I asked Laura what she wanted for a name on the side of her car. I tell people all the time how I have these two wonderful daughters that are really good girls and they tell me they want "Booty racing". I could have crapped and then they explained to me........ "BooDee" Racing. I have to admit I was more than a little relieved when they told me that. :wow

Well, three more races with the JR Dragster and I can put Lil57 in the Big 57 (with a milder engine to start with) and see if she likes that. I just hope she has the muscle to turn that steering wheel on that stove.
