The guy said that if you don't know what your doing then don't bother with it.

He stated though that he used to have everything under the dash but decided to move it all to the rear.

This is what he told...
Weight reduction.. Stock motor... Stock Stall... Slicks.... 12.1x's all day.
So no actual numbers, sorry Yoo.

Sorry no other pictures, just a black firebird with welds wheels I believe.

:wooo thats nuts, wish most of them were like that, instead of all the rusted out cars and the cars that came with fresh mud on the tires. :wooo

saw it at the dyno day as well. Very clean. Don't think that battery setup is track legal though.

If they decide to get picky at tech the battery has to be in a seal and vented box because its located in the passenger compartment of the car.

Nice car though, I think I seen that guy on the MFBA cruise 2 years ago.

so if you guys are saying you saw him at a dyno day. Did he end of running his car to see what it put down???

In theory it needs to be fully encased and also should have a remote disconnect switch out the back. I've seen many cars skirt these requirements though...not sure of lately though.

disconect switch yes, sealed optima battery will not need an enclosure. to me it looks like that battery is just set in there, i could be wrong however

Sealed Optimas still have vents (the two little gray circles on the corners) still required to be enclosed if they feel like holding you to the rules.

correct, unless you are using a rear firewall to seperate the passanger compartment, which i doubt that has any sort of firewall but cant tell based on the pics they have..
