Just drove home....Hwy 83 is shut down by the cop shop/ railroad tracks by Hwy43.

There were city workers...cops...WE energies.....fire department people EVERYWHERE! It almost looked like they were shutting down the neighborhood right by the dam.

Where the river loops around by Hwy 43 (east of 83).....the water looks like it's getting pretty damn close to the freeway. I've never seen it that high before.

I hope it holds, there talking about shutting the power grid down if it fails. And with a sump pump running every 30 sec. My basement should flood quite nicely.

the dam will fail at some point. It might take a day or so but it should fail. It was never designed to hold back this much water

WTF? The EXIT onto 164 is closed? Or the on-ramp from 164 to south I-43?

are they shutting down highways because it is going to go soon??? i saw on the news that they were pretty sure it was going to go, but haven;t heard if it actually went.

looks like some heavy rain in the forecast for tomorrow. anyone that lives down there.....try to stay dry and be careful.
