No hail just raining up the HILL sideways. As you can see our lawn was a swimming pool
Hard to tell from the pics but there were like 50+ mph winds whipping that heavy downpour.

then you must live right off of college ave?

No I live on 97th and Howard Ave. We need to call the city. The sewers on our street always get clogged whenever we get heavy rain. About half of my block was flooded. Three of my neighbors and myself were outside in the muck clearing the sewers. My dad does live off 35th and College and has a flooded basement.

Don't have pics, but I just took my pops to the laundromat (he has no license or car) and the bridge on Main St (that goes over the Fox River) in Waukesha was closed off. That has never before happened in the history of me living out here... that I can remember. Usually the water is between six and eight feet below the bridge, but now the river is just about touching the concrete on the bottom of the bridge. Is some spots it's spilling out onto the street and there's countless people out there checking it out and several people with cameras taking pictures. When I go back I may bring my camera with me so I can put up some pics for you fine people.

Yeah, that bothered me when an individual little kid was out there. I made sure my youngest was holding hands on both sides but she only lasted a couple of minutes before she went back home. Parents were doing a decent job of being out there with their kids.

Just got back from vacation, doesn't look like things have changed too much around here. My basement smells like day old ass from some water that leaked in while we were gone.

Guess I missed the news flash of all Waukesha county lakes being closed. I drove an hour to take out the jetski to Pewaukee. That's gotta be a good 4-5 feet higher than normal.

howcome you have a Pieper logo on your hardhat?

we were recently bought by Pieper (month ago) so now we are a division. we have a well established residential department, one of the largest in SE wisconsin. Pieper had 2 guys doing resi work LOL who formally worked here too.. Pieper wanted to yet expand there $90 million company. so they bought us to add a residential division under Pieper.
