my dog Roscoe died today...he had gotten into someplace he shouldn't have and drank some anti-freeze. started going downhill from there, so rather than let him suffer I had him put to sleep.

I am going to miss him...he was my "family" and my boy and I loved him more than I knew. I knew he always enjoyed BCM meets and all and eating everything on the ground and french fries...

*sigh*

I dont even know what to say... :(

All I can say was that I remember when we were at RSD and you were down by the walkway between the stands with him and these 3 girls walked by and the one in the red shirt with the really big boobs stopped and was petting him saying what a nice dog he was. He was such a pimp. :( I was impressed. I didnt know him or you for very long but I will miss him.

sorry to hear that Chris.....Roscoe was sure the pimp. That was awesome when he lured those 3 girls over at RSD and the chick in the red shirt kept bending over and all of us in the stands were desperately trying to see down her shirt. Roscoe was a team player. He was family, and we will all miss him....sorry to hear about him Chris.:(

Thanks for the replies guys...

It was tough coming home to an empty house today...even as I type, I miss roscoe lounging next to me.

At first I said no more dogs....but I think I will relent and get a new buddy come this spring.

Sorry to hear that Chris. Having a 1.5 yr old and 4 month old German Shepard this makes me sick just hearing about this. Anything we can do let us know.

Sorry about your dog. I've been tying for years for my dad to let me get a dog. Guess I need to wait another two and a half years till I graduate from college.

What type of dog was he.

Never got to meet the pup at a show,(or you for that matter) but I truly sympathize!! I lost a dog myself, and I know how it feels!!!!

My heart goes out to all the dog lovers here!!!!

Sorry to hear about your dog. :( It sucks loosing a pet, particularily a dog, as they often have personalities that are almost human.

You did the right thing though by putting him down. As I understand it, antifreeze basically shuts down their kidneys and is a really horrible way for an animal to go.
