Dude, if I didn't already have a Monte, I would be all over this. You should get it!

I love me some cutlass rallyee wheels even if they are only 14's. Over the years I have owned my share of G bodies.
1981 Cutlass
1980 Cutlass
Two 1979 Cutlasses
1978 Cutlass
Two 1980 Monte Carlos
1978 Grand Prix
1980 Buick Regal
1982 Buick Regal

Back in the day (12-15 years ago) you could pick up a solid G body with a knocking v6 for $300.00 - $500.00. Now a days they're getting hacked up for hydraulics, set on a 4X4 frame to fit 26" rims, or being raced at the local circle track. I see rollers going for $1000.00+ all day long. Love em mostly becasue that is what I learned on. It's like going back home!

If I didn't have the Jeep, I would make the Monte a daily with an old school 355/A4 combo and make that sexy ass grey Cutty the beast!

I Wonder How Much To Get Rid Of That Ugly Brown Interior, Hahah

you can get a used cutlass interior for a few hundred bux tops, chris. Theyre cheap and everywhere.

the dash is brown. the rest of the interior is out of a 442 and is burgandy, And unless they removed it, I had a megashifter fitting in the console that looked like the factory put it there. The cage is a 6 point and is 11.49 legal. the seat belts were new last year. And if someone wanted it to be a street car I think I can get a heater box, the controls are still in the car. I originally paid 2500 for the car with a v6 in it about 7 years ago. I kinda miss it. If you have any more quesions just let me know. I have owned about 10-12 g body's. the next one I build will be ls powered!!!

what about the 2" a-pillar? are you talking about a spot of rust? paint's excellent?

how's the frame? the rear bumper area of the frame? Is the guy pretty desperate to get rid of it? Sounds that way.

yeah it started as a bubble under the paint and then became a rust hole. I had a quote for 200 bux to fix it. the frame was solid but the rear bumper was rusty.

I don't really know how badly he wants to get rid of it. the guy got my number to find out the drive train specs and such and just called me to offer my car back to me.
