Do you all happen to know of a place in the Milwaukee area that would be able to fab and install a cage for me?

Yeah, just sent them an email off their website.

Just need a 4 point to let me run mid/low 10's once I use the 150 shot.

Be cool to get it painted blue as well.

heh

I thought a 5 point was required? I didn't think the NHRA excepted 4 points?

I believe 6point cage if you run faster than 11.49 or faster in NHRA rule.

I'm pretty sure it is 5pt for 11.49 and 10pt for 9.99. assuming the car is a hard top. verts are different.

yes, it is 5point. but if i would rather one more going down passenger side. looks nice too :thumbsup 10pt 9.99- 9.0.

I think after 135mph or 140mph you need the chute

Correct 5 point for 11.49 and you can indeed get a 10 pt to cert to 8.50. Anything under that and you need the funny car halo, etc.

If money is a concern (im not only broke but im cheap on top of it)
Alston just over the border is the cheapest place to score a complete
cage, I called everybody for cash and carry. $200 complete 12 point
cage I notched and welded in.

http://www.alstonracing.com/

Even if you use one of the reputable builders mentioned above it would
be very hard to beat there prices for the materials.

10 PT. = 8.50
Chute = 150 MPH

Well OTE won't build it, only accepting large projects.

Pfft!

Well my 2 cents! If your gonna cage it you might as well go all out that way once you build it up more you won't have to take it apart again to get more done! :thumbsup

Well they said full race car builds, so whatever I need done really doesn't involve that much work.

Though I do want to get my rear tub'd to fit 315's.
