Met up with Josh (pw_cc_runner) for a small shoot....

So on Sunday, I met with Josh for a small shoot of the "hot rod" and I must say, the car looks GREAT! I had never seen the car in person before, and the amount of detail that he and his dad put into the car is simply amazing.

A big :thumbsup to Josh for coming all the way back down from Port after being at the races with his DD and going home to get the car, then coming back for the shoot. A lot of driving on his part!

Anyways, I tried something different in the HDR processing with the last picture, and I actually like the way it turned out better than any of the others.

Josh, I am working on the rest of them, about 5 more, and when they are done, i can put the full size images on a disc for you!

Pics look good, but do you have any non-HDR versions? I've never been a fan of this effect as it makes everything look fluorescent.

I like the 3rd and 6th pics! I don't care for the orange flames alot but they still look good! I would've did maybe black flames with blacked out wheels! :headbang

I mostly do not care for the HDR pics either but have seen a few that look cool but in most cases I just want to see the "real mccoy" and not a picture that can significantly alter the subject matter.

Neat pics none the less and good lookin Probe.

WOW! Everything and more than what I was expecting. Way too cool John, I love how your Jeep dwarfs the Probe. I can't say thanks enough and the wait was well worth it. I am excited to see the rest of them.

The best part of the shoot was drooling over the Jeep. :drool:

The car is currently in an in between stage, but I will be making a round-bar grill for the mean time.

I don't really have "regular" pictures, but I can use the ones from the HDR and just adjust them since the exposures are not optimal for regular pictures. I will see what I can do. The internet is down at home since last night, but I will see what I can get to later tonight or this weekend and post em up!!

as always you did another great job john...:thumbsup. i like your work...and i know you are aware of that fact...this pic i like the best,....shows the stance of the car,gives the over all of the car.......and the flames shoot out to me...but....photoshop the crap in the corner out and do a crop on it.....and you'll have a great pic.....

and black flames..:goof..home teaching isn't working..j/k.these flames look perfect on this ride...JMO...

but what do i know...i'm old and know nothing about picture taking....:devil
