Well this was a little more relevant on Saturday but better late than never

Went to qualifying and practice for the A.J. Foyt 225 here at the Milwaukee Mile, very cool day....aside from the greatly varying available light because of passing clouds. Worked my way into great parts of the Mile both inside and outside of the track itself. The last window in the fence I was shooting through was close enough that I was getting pegged by the pieces of rubber the cars were throwing up, I figured that was about close enough.

I was shooting the cars themselves but another guy I was with went to go get the drivers and I know he has some Danica shots for me :thumbsup

Shooting these things as they are screaming around at whatever ungodly speeds they were moving at proved difficult at best so I kept the shutter speed high until I get a bit more experience with them.

Here are just a few but a ton more in the gallery; http://www.webtrendsguy.com/images/mmindy/

wow nice pics man. I was driving down greenfield the day before the big race and I saw a indy car pulled over on the side of the street???? Why would they be driving in on city streets, doesn't it pull right off the back of the trailor??
