I know there's Georgie Porgies, but I am talking about judged car shows? My step son to be loves them, and I don't mind them either:thumbsup

Stingrays FTW! I almost shite last weekend, there was an early 70's Stingray (it had side pipes, may have been late 60's, I don't know my Vettes THAT well) in the car corral @ automation, $6500, and it needed VERY little. Paint was still glossy, interior looked like it needed nothing besides some new seat covers. I mean it even made me do a double take. Boosted and WickedSix both saw it. It was an auto though, BOOOOO! But yeah, if I had the cash laying around, I would have jumped on it in a heartbeat.

Just got back from the Greenfield car show, it was good. There were a whole 2 cars in my class (2000's and up), mine and one of those wanna be Dale Earnhardt Monte Carlo things with the 6 cylinder engine. I took 2nd:rolf And yes, I am serious. It was cool though, I got to park right next to a gorgeous black with red stripe 69 Mach 1, it was just neat that my car and his were parked next to each other, super nice guy to (name was Dave). So many people talked about the lineage of the cars, how mine was like the tribute to that era, it was just a neat show overall. Could have taken home better hardware, but you know, those Dale Earnhardt things are MAD TIGHT yo!!!:rolf

On a side note, there was a guy there with another "repro" Earnhardt car, only it was made to look way more like the real thing, stickers, red, the whole she-bang. The real disturbing thing was the guy who came with it could have passed for the real Earnhardt Sr. Dressed in black jeans with the sponser shirt, same hair and mustache, looked JUST like him. Fandom should only go so far, it was disturbing!

I saw you at the show (cant forget that stang). I don't know if you saw me, I was in the silverado. Unfortunately I had to leave early for work so I don't know if I won a trophy or not.
