Just was a little curious with Higher gas prices will it effect how many times you take your car to the track?

I don't go to the track very often if ever with my own cars. However these prices are starting to make me second guess taking my bird out for a cruise.

For example I was thinging about hitting up hwy this weekend either friday or saturday evening. But with the prices and me living out in Jefferson now I have to make sure its possible and worth doing. :thumbsup

I drive it once a week...so it won't really affect me too much. I might not take it to baseball games as often, things like that though.

The current gas prices did dictate that my fiancee and I will take the insight vs her vibe to TX though.

nothing till the 7 is done... I only bother after major mods to gauge its impact. I probably wouldn't even bother unless I went with the LSx swap.

Adam and I decided not to go to Seattle this year, but we'll stay close and do track events at Gingerman and Blackhawk instead.

with gas prices now, I have to rethink the driving. Do I really wanna press the pedal harder to pass that guy on the freeway? when the light turns yellow do I really wanna put er to the wood to make it through? I'd rather replace my brake pads before filling my tank.... it would be cheaper :(

I am thinking that I shouldn't have put a big block in the car. I never go to the track that much anyway. Haven't done points in almost 10 years. That won't really affect me

Definitely, I don't take my car to the track but once or so a year. Probably won't even happen this year, cuz i need new DR's. Now that I have dibs on a new motorcycle on Saturday, I may not drive the car much at all.
