Something just doesn't seem right...the rim design is nice but its like the tires are too small or something....

Now that I think about it, maybe if it was lowered a little it would look better.

Chris, I love the Sequoia, but the rims don't fit it too well. Probably because of the vehicle's color. If it was a dark red, or a black vehicle, then maybe yeah.

I think I would go with an anodized rim, or a more neutral color like gray, or Anthracite.

I know it isn't bling, but I think that the sharp angles on the rim's spokes and the chrome don't fit the soft lines of the Toyota. Maybe a smoother spoke design would look better.

Good luck!

I agree with that guy saying that the body should be lowered. Otherwise not bad.

I think I've seen a similar rim on a Expedition and they looked fine.. Buuttt, something is off.. Only thing I can think is it sits too high.. Or maybe the body lines.. Not sure but they don't look bad but something is off..

I have to agree that the color is the biggest problem and the ride height doesn't help. If the truck was black it would look hot, but factory two-tone and bling do not go together

maybe the truck needs some running boards or something....... :)

Maybe I will put them back on. I started to put them on yesterday before I put the rims on and said, maybe I will wait.

I think the problem is there is no chrome on the rest of the car really. So the chrome on the rims makes it look out of place.

I still like them. They fit the truck nice.

Need more pole opinions. Rims are nice, but as said before, the all chrome look out of place on your Sequoia. I think a Black/Polished would look great on that car, but the all chrome just sticks out like a sore thumb in this case.

For trucks I'm of the smaller rims/beefier tires school. It would look better lowered, but lowering a truck doesn't make sense to me either. Trucks should be....trucks.

I think the rims look really good but on that suv, you need some meaty tires and less rims imo. Those rims look better suited for a lowrider than a nice big truck.

Im with Yoo,

The wheels themselves I Like, However with the combo of that two tone paint and just the general height of the sequoia throws it off.

If he goes with spinners he has to start cruising on Capitol.

I agree with Yoo, but I've also sold wheels for many years and saw that spoke design and pattern so many times that I have somehow decided that I don't like them.

That being said, I don't think they look bad.

Looks a lot nicer with the running boards on.

That's a very big improvement, but I'd say it still needs to be dropped a little or something to match right.

better with rb on but needs more tire imo. where are the pics of the buick anyway?

Need more meat/diameter for the tires...it makes the truck look like a 6'7" 360lb lineman with size 6 1/2 feet....or like your Truck is walking on it's tip-toes.

Otherwise the rims look sharp. I think good rims look sharp even with the two tone paint.

Dude, you ride around in a roller skate?

You need at least 325 rubber at that diameter. Unless you plan on cutting pizzas with your skate.

You need to get rid of the running boards also. It makes it look even more plastic... not Escalade or firstgen Avalanche kind of plastic... more like "Expedition meets Saturn SL".

If you get more rubber (both width and height, need to fill up the wheelwells while you're at it) it'll look good, even if you keep the grandma ladders (running boards).

get lowering spring that thing looks like a 4x4. j/k looks good i think

WilliamZ

The tires are 305's. Nobody makes a lowering spring for this truck, just lift kits.

i like the rims, but not on the truck, they just do'nt seem to fit right. woulda looked good on the lexus or something of that nature imo.....

Flicktitty
05-21-2008, 11:42 PM
they look good. but i would have went with a more aggressive offroad style tire to fill that wheel well gap.

what about lowering kits for Tundra/tacoma i think thats the same thing?

Car Guy

I slightly taller tire would do the trick, but as-is they look very nice.....
