well I have been on workman comp for the better part of 2 months doing light duty at work. well based on a MRI done of my lower back it showed 2 buldging disks and one vertabrea that has a non moving fracture consistant with the buldge issue.

So today I go in to Waukesha Pain Management for the first of three possible injections in my spine.....yippee....hopefully the first one does the job but they are thinking min of 2...then its on to continued therapy for back strength rehab and muscle stretch.

soooo- on aa good note- I said that my new motor(347) from last year broke- well I have a brand new short block built by a dedicated Ford specialist out of Madison named Dave Miester. I am going to have Marv at C and M do the long block as I can't lift much. Seems I am paying lots of ppl to help out with tasks..lol but thats okay. I also bought rims/tire combo and other new new intake stuff and I am having the rear end done so hopefully both CPG and I can come out rip snortin again...LOL

off to the doc now..will check in later:durr

I'll drive your car at the track, since all the HP would probably be to rough on your back.

Good luck with your back Andy.

Did they ever figure out what failed on your AMS motor?

Good luck with you back Andy. My wife had the same exact procedure done. She ended up getting all three shots. It did eventually help.

The shots are nothing to go thru. It hurts more to get a novacaine shot at the dentist.

Good luck with them though. I had 2 done and basically didn't do anything. Never bothered with the 3rd.

yeah what Karp's said...its more of a build up.....the shot or the area around is wearing off- I feel some relief but they said that would plateau in a couple of days...I go back on June 3rd...also have to now get a CT to see to what extent the little wing on the vert is fractured...DR already said that if it was on the vert itself they could use a cement but not in this area....if I can get to 75% or better I will be happy...

sure Andy- I will give you a shot at driving it...its only a car -right?

as to my AMS motor- well I am done dealing with him for now...I had this opportunity to buy this short block soo I jumped at it and will deal with Steve when I can...

Have a couple parts to buy let and hopefully all will be assembled and and on the road 2nd week of June

thanks all

I hope the shots work for ya man and it all goes to plan. If it dosen't you will be in for a bumpy ride, trust me I have been there. I had those shots some years ago and also tried everything else under the sun but my last resort was surgery so as I said I sincerley hope the shots work cause I would not wish what I've had done not even on my own worst enemy.
