For those Race Fuel users

I've talked to a few different compaines VP/Sunoco/Torco and it sounds like as a whole, none gave me dates but they are looking to up prices of Race fuels a $1/gallon. I hope they can give me a date before they move.....but for those of you guys, and i dont even care who you get your fuel from, Buy it up within the next month or two because it could get ugly!

for the VP ultimate 4 designed for 4 strokes. i run it in my motocross bike and yea, $13 a gallon for 5 gal. $10.xx for 55gal:punch:

actually i run 110LL. and racine airport (krac) sells it for ~5.40, .50 cents less if you keep your plane(s) there, which we do.

And Isn't Aviation gas formulated for high altitude? I am under the impression that is not great to use in car/truck engines

i have a Judge friend that puts Aviation FUEL in his Ferrari that he keep at Timmerman air port....when they fuel up his bi plane he tells them to fuel the car as well....the car runs fine....

AVGas (do NOT run if you have cats/02 sensors, unless you like to change them often if its leaded) As far as it not being right to run in most cars, there is a reason no one that is making big HP is running it....but thats just my opinion.

Me and a buddy tried "avgas" AV100LL from the local airport on his turbo engine a few years back. That stuff is SHIT. "Low lead" is actually MORE LEAD than leaded race gas!! It performed nothing like real race gas and did not allow very high of boost level before detonation. My advice is to stay away.

ive run 110ll, in my quads, bikes, turbo eclipse, passat 1.8, l28et 240z, and had the same if not better than any racegas formula i have tried. yes, dont run it on cars with o2 sensors and cats, but if your running race gas, you probably dont have them. ps 110ll and avgas are different, but available at most airports, and very similarly priced. im going to keep with it, since i get it cheap enough, and can tune for it. if you want to try it, i usually keep 20-50 gallons around. let me know. 110ll smells great in your bike or quad.

Let's hear some specifics. Your title says "Boost whore". What boost pressure were you able to run before detonation on real race gas, and how did airplane gas compare respectively?

They dont anymore, there was Sunoco 110 but they said they arent bringing it in anymore. They couldnt sell it fast enough.

But when i put some in, i put Torco 100unleaded in it when you were down at my house.
