2008 Saleen

I saw a 2008 Saleen yesterday on 20th and college. Just caught a glimps of it driving north on 20th Looking a Saleens site it looked like the 2008 S281 3V. Know anyone that got one? I drooled a little :thumbsup:drool:

The only Saleen I've ever seen was the ass-end of one in the back of some automotive trailer that was stopped on the side of the road. Would love to see one on the road.

It was a dark grey color maybe a grey metalic

Ouch! A buddy of mine from HS has a silver Saleen, 05. We keep saying we are going to race but haven't. It is pretty cool, I will give him that.

yeah i wasnt a big fan of the 05-07 saleen wheels. the rest of the car is cool i pretty much like all mustangs you of all people know that

roush saleen gt500 = heavy and slow. 500 hp doesn't do much when the car weighs as much as a 5 series wagon. also, dave's car is sick.

easy guy. All I'm saying is 500hp is way more fun when you only have to haul around 2200lbs. Dragstrip, road corse, even doing donuts, a lighter car will outperform. I love mustangs I just think the sn197 is kind of a tank.

a huge boat with no 6-speed to row. Dodge fans will flock to anything. 4-door chargers, "rumblebee" rams. horrible. I can't justify buying my hotrod from the dealership. Most are so watered down by the time they hit the showroom and mods for just released cars are outrageously expensive. I just don't want to add an air cleaner, exhaust and some heavy body cladding and call it custom. Either way my Factory Five car is a "kit" so what do I know.

my little n.a tank ran 12.8s same times as older lighter mach 1's and non blown cobras not sure where your getting your info from. these cars may be heavy but mine seems to turn on a dime not to mention weight distribution is optimal and the car is much more comfortable to drive in since its longer and wider. not sure ive seen to many if any factory production mass produced 2200 lb cars making 500 hp

i gotcha your building a kit car,kinda like building a model someone figured it all out and put the pieces in the box and gave you instructions on how to put it together,how custom,you bought yours at a dealership,just in pieces. not to mention its a replicar talk about watered down jeeesh pit meet kettle, mines 1-147 yours 1-1xxxxx
