I ran 11.81@124mph with a nice boost leak:rolf My ait sensor does not exist and hasnt for a while im guessing:wow, must have fell out after the tune in ohio, it would make sense why my car does not pull as hard, dies at stop lights, runs erratically, etc.....:rolf:rolf:rolf

FOr those who dont know my ait sensor goes right in the Hardpipe that hooks up to my IC on one side and Intake manifold/tb n the other....

So ya all the stuff im doing, plus fixing a boost leak i have no doubts when i go back im gonna get THE BOOT:thumbsup

Just a 2 step @ 5500rpms, and i'll get it dialed in Im still on stock suspension, with some traction mods... next time i go coilovers will be on the car and are gonna help a ton... plenty of srt's have gone 1.6 and 1.5 is pretty much the best you can get.... I might even spring for a new set of slicks or buy a used set off kevin that i know are good, they are 26x8.5'sx15 though...

1) His car was considerably lighter than an SRT.
2) I believe it was also FWD at the time.... and either way he said whp, so really its the same either way (in terms of power to the pavement, i.e. mph).

In general yes you will generally lose a little mph with the extra traction, however it's really just a rule of thumb and each car/setup will react differently.

heres the issue simon, you say that at 23 psi you make 617, and that a 35r will make a little over 700 right? WRONG

at that point the turbo will basically add 15-20whp for every pound of boost, so at 40 psi your 617whp should jump to anywhere from 875-950+...............NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

simon didnt have the 35r, he had a t67, so if he wants to try to pass that off as a 35r than screw him, i can see right through it!

t67 is 6mm bigger and flows 75/lb min, compared to a 65 lb/min 35r, WHOLE DIFFERENT MONSTER THERE

ill shed some of my turbo knowledge, no 67mm turbo can flow enough air to make 850hp. Even with the largest a/r you can find it's not going to happen. Hell my custom 71mm can BARELY flow enough to make that. So someone is making up some numbers somwhere

The only way I see 617whp at 23psi on a 35r is if it is a very high revving, extremely well built, k24 or something.

On a b16 or b18 you would have to have almost impossible VEs (we are talking like 150%+) and/or rev that ****er out to 12k or something and still keep some decent VE :durr

That... or make a dyno run with the ambient temp sensor touching a light bulb and the barometric pressure sensor in a vacuum. Then turn on SAE correcting :rolf :rolf
