Mike Vaughn. He runs a martial arts school out of Madison.

The guy he's fighting is actually a rematch from back in March, they did Muay Thai Kickboxing then, Mike TKO'd him in under 2 minutes in the first round. The other guy wants to go again in the cage under MMA rules, so thats what theyre doing.

Here was the video from last time.

I'm sorry, I used to fight and we refer that as "sloppy" horrible stance, doesn't lay very many accurate punches, jumping all over the place with no real fighting technique, he just goes running at the guy. a fighter with good defense that can take his aggressiveness for 2 rounds to wear him out, will take him. maybe Muay Thai kick boxing teaches you that? but any true mixed martial arts person will smoke him, period.

otherwise, good fight against that other guy. knee the face usually gives you a nice zinger :headbang

The other guy isn't much of a fighter from what I saw in the video. Spinning backfist's should be saved for the movies, too much can go wrong while you are spinning. The opponent can tee off at that point. Your buddy gave him a few good knees there and never really was out of position. He fought a pretty good fight there. They both need to learn a clinch if they ever fight that style again. Looked more like a wrestling tie-up and they didn't leave enough spacing for knees and other strikes.

don't get me started on the black guy. he didn't even deserve to be in the ring. the white guy at least has potential.

I was in Judo, and Brazilian/Japanese Jujitsu. for a total of about 9yrs ish ( 15-24 ) I was a striker, but my specialty is on the ground. I was one of the top grappling guys when I was fighting. I trained with Ed Herman for awhile ( if you know who that is? he was in chicago for 3 years training, and I trained with him and Art Santore before they moved to or around Oregon so they could train with team quest for UFC.

I trained at Force Toro, Newbreed, and Jeff Curran's when I was fighting in the IMMAC
