FU<K poison ivy, last year when my dad and i were triming around the station we must of gotten into it pretty well. Within a day or two i had an allergic reaction and my eyes swelled almost shut, my JUNK swelled, but since im hung like a horse normally there wasnt a big difference :D lol, but seriously it was scary! I finally ended up going to the doctor cuz i couldnt see and it hurt to walk....they put me on Roids and i got all better!

So in the end, if it truely is Poison ivy....pee on it for me, then burn the shit!

OK, Mr. Technical here with a question.....

If you pee on it wouldn't that make it harder to burn it...??? :D

But seriously, here is a pic of it and I would say NO to the stuff you encountered.....

It doesn't really look like any of the examples on this site http://poisonivy.aesir.com/view/pictures.html
Usually but not always the leaves can be a little reddish and shiny.
Can never hurt to be cautious though.

If you have poison ivy the worst thing you can do is burn it. Roundup has a spray that works awesome on Poison Ivy, I had a bunch in my backyard last fall.

If you burn it, the you will inhale the ash, and even if you dont think you inhaled it, there is tiny airborn particles that you and your pets will inhale, and if you think poison ivy is bad on the outside, imagine it in your lungs.

Although it doesn't look like poison ivy to me, I would say just to be safe, put on some heavy gloves and get rid of it.

That is what I read on the internet. It says that their fur protects them. How ever she doesnt have hair on her belly and it also said that if it is on there fur it can still transfer to humans.

The oils which cause the itchiness also get wafted through the air.

I've got it all over my yard, the stuff I have has more rounded leafs and smooth edges. I get in to it with a lawn mower a few times a year, I get a rash and little tiny blisters, itches like a mofo....Never bothers any of my dogs or cats....

Some people dont react to poison ivy either. My girlfriends son isnt fazed by it one bit. He may have unknown super powers.

I got poison ivy so bad when I was eight at our cabin in the woods. I remember Grams putting Calomine lotion on me. Ever since, I have been immune to it. I would walk through it much to the amazement of family and friends.

Yeah I am still there but they are not going to care. Friday night I got a water leak inside one of my walls. I called them up and they looked at it Friday night at Midnight. They said they would be over saturday which they never showed and said that they were there at 10am and didnt see that it got any bigger. I asked if they were an invisible blind person because I was at home at 10am and they didnt show. Also they said it didnt get any bigger which it did. They didnt do a damn thing and said the leaking must of stopped even though you can hear the shit dripping in the walls. That place is such a shit hole I cannot wait till my lease is up.

Yes it is! If that is in your property, put on heavy gloves, remove all those plants and send them to me in a box. I will "dispose" of them properly.:goof

I got Poisson Ivy pretty bad last year. Ended up getting steroids to take as well as a cortisone foam. I can honestly tell you I don't believe there is a more uncomfortable feeling in the world than having PI all over the twig and giggle berries.
