1998 Plymouth Neon Expresso in Electric Blue w/Auto trans for sale in Greenfield WI for $1,500.00. Has 157,600 miles. No leaks at all, engine runs absolutely perfect!
I am the ORIGINAL OWNER. Car was dealer maintained under a factory Maximum Care Chrysler Service Contract until 100,000 miles, and had the entire short block engine replaced at 99,000 miles. That's right this motor has just 58,000 miles on it, and it runs absolutely perfect! The car does not leak a thing and has a multi-layer steel (MLS) head gasket, so no worries there. It also has an aftermarket alarm and remote starter on it.
Only problems: Auto transmission is starting to shift hard (and not want to always upshift out of 2nd gear until about 4,000 RPM's). Power sunroof no longer goes back (only goes up and down), the AC hasn't worked in years (it was my winter car so I never cared), and it has rust along the passenger side bottom of car from the door getting opened into the curb.
Car has ZERO electrical or engine problems as I just stuck $750.00 into it this winter BEFORE deciding to buy a replacement winter vehicle for it this month (a Jeep Grand Cherokee). My loss can now be your gain - in the last 1,000 miles it's received, at a Dodge dealership, a complete Fuel Injection Cleaning, complete Tune-up, new Water Pump, new Timing Belt, new Alternator, new Starter, new Throttle position sensor and coolant temp sensor. Also has perfect condition Neon R/T alloy wheels with brand new snow tires as well as a 2nd set of R/T wheels to add summer tires (no extra tires included).
Fully loaded with every option except ABS and CD player, it includes the style package (seats), the 150hp DOHC engine, power steering, cruise, tilt wheel, power windows/locks/mirrors, rear spoiler, premium 6 speaker sound system w/cassette.
