Thanks for proving me right.

Oh and, what is that you think you're spouting off about IN THIS THREAD? Don't you think that your posts constitute an OPINION, and especially one that wasn't asked for?

Whatever class it is that your presume I'm in, it is still about 50 times higher than your station in life, puke.
Seriously, the last time you posted anything amusing was, ah, er, oh that's right, never.

What sort of shit-heap is it you own again? Let me know when it even goes 13s with any suspension or tranmission... Idiot.

Really? Let's review:

Hey you got a Cobra right? How many cobra guys can go 8's on there STOCK IRS and there STOCK 6spd?

Hmmm, perhaps it's just me but the first part of the quote does seem to point itself in my direction, no? If you're going to make an ad hominem attack, you'd better be sure that the respondent isn't going to skewer you in kind. :thumbsup

BTW, it's "their" not "there".

Try not to take this post too seriously. It is, after all, just the internetz...:rolf

It is also nice to have "some" power before 7000 rpm. That is why those cars never even begin to ET their HP.

Personally, I think Camaros should have Chevy engines.....with carburetors. None of this modern technology stuff. Let them be what they are, they are already awesome.

For the record, I personally *never* would do a swap like that. Don't get me wrong I love my 2JZ engine and Toyota built the shit out of it, but import and domestic are two different animals. I know that company prides itself on their one-off cars and being original and so forth... but I just can't imagine someone who's in love with the classic looks and the powerband of a single-turbo I-6. That's just a strange combination.

Not really feeling the 1967 Camaro with a 2JZ swap..... That is a classic car and should of kept its roots and kept a Chevy motor inside.

As for the Supra with the SBC.... I like it, but Supra guys probably frown down on him for doing it.

Same could and can be said for the supra. it's a japanese classic.

Very true, by no means am I bashing either car or either person's choice to go the route they did with their car.

But by far I think the worst motor swap was the guy that did an LS1 into an Evo....just my personal opinion I wouldn't waste an LS1 on that car, and I wouldn't wanna lose the AWD at the same time.

That Camaro is one of the stupidest things Ive ever seen. The best thing that could happen to that car is God hits it with a lightning bolt and it burns to the ground. It sounds ridiculous, I would be embarrassed to be seen or heard in a piece of classic car history that sounds like that thing.

1000hp, big deal. Put a BBC with a turbo in there and hit 1000, and not lose the respect of the majority of people that see the car. The ricers are the only ones that will think thats cool.

I'm sorry but i don't get some of you guy's logic about "ricers" why the **** is a 1000HP Inline 6 only cool by "ricers" Have you EVER seen a 1000HP Chevy Inline 6? i just don't see how a 1000HP anything can still get called rice

Yes I have. GM did it to a 4.2L inline 6 Trailblazer engine. Turbo'd it and tossed it back in the T.B. if I remember right. Hauled some serious ass.

I think the "rice" comment is over used too, on the flip side, 1000rwhp and 10-11-12 second slips are all ******* weak :)

About as weak as me running 12's on my Busa tomorrow, hahaha

Um, I would put it into a 64 valiant that is not worth much, but cool to me like my one i used to have...I would never trash a challenger, roadrunner, etc.... It would be extremely fast at 1000whp and still be able to drive it and get good gas mileage.... I would totally keep it sleeper though... dogdish rims, stock appearing on the outside....I dont care what anyone says it willl happen years from now when i got the coin..
