Jacki and I are longhauling it again this year. This year though the drive will be a little different to get our card punched. We need to be back into Wisconsin Thursday night for my last day of class period. Which means that Wed. we will leave for Ames, IA and then continue directly to Rochester, MN. We will sleep at some point and get up for the opening event Thursday punch in and then drive to WI for my 6pm class.

It will be another great time though.

I'll be going to MN and then to Madison..Its been a couple of years since I was on the power tour isn't Saturday the long haul pics? If so I will head home friday night.

This may be a dumb question but do you stay over night at each stop or how does it work? I am from Rochester and my family all lives there. It would be fun to go visit that week and then cruise down to Madison with everyone!

Yes, most spend the night at that location and then leave in the morning. The caravan from the show leaves at 9am, but most longhaulers know not to attend the cluster .......

It's all good though and driving in a pack of 100+ at first is great.

booyah, I live a block from the Kohl Center and don't work Friday or Saturday... I will almost definitely be there (not having a car on campus still kinda sucks)

The event opens at Noon, but most longhaulers arrive somewhere around 3-5pm
