the cheaper the better... not looking to spend more than $400 so maybe something that needs minor work?!!?
the rear end on mine just broke today and i only cut about 1/4 of my yard! so it looks really stupid right now:punch:

I have one that seems to need a fair amount of work. Worked for a while, sat, and now doesn't...I think it's a bad solenoid. 4ws.
What's good? The price is free...just come take it.
Also got a push mower that works fine...but needs a new handle. If you got welding skillz (big IF, in your case I guess, lol), should be an easy fix. Price = free. Just come get it.
Take both, and I'll give ya a beer.

I've got a 16HP Tecumsah engine (pressure lubed) MTD 42" cut, 6 speeds (bought in 1994) for $300. I'm thinking about buying a new one because the tires are getting worn and I've got some fairly steep hills on the yard. Too much tire spin. Works fine.
