Me and liz are looking at getting her a new trunk for her 240sx but the only decent one we can find in her color is in Maryland. So were gonna have to ship it. I was just wondering who is the cheapest shipping company or how to get it here cheapre. Thanks.

Well Work uses UPS for large furnature for our customers.....I have shiped a transmission down to Lousiana for a friend via grayhound....that was the cheepest.....However no matter what you do, get the shipping insurance on it...

idk if I like UPS, but you could try:
http://www.rlcarriers.com/

There is a terminal right overo n 6th and edgerton in milwaukee, just west of the airport. If you have them ship it to that terminal for pickup, I can pick it up for ya and drop it off by ya

Every situation is different but I would strongly suggest FedEx ground or Greyhound. You can go with a carrier like RL but you are going to wait and it might not be that much cheaper just because it doesn't weight that much.....

DHL has been the cheapest for me when sending transmissions, rims/tires, hoods, stuff like that.

FedEx was way cheaper that UPS to ship some tires and DHL was the cheapest when I shipped my wheels a few months back

I'm shipping my stock twins and a bunch of other stuff to a guy in Massachusets and I think it's going to be about $80 shipping. The box weighs close to 100 lbs.

Good luck on this venture, I remember when I was looking for a color match hood for my 00 S10, I found about 5 at junkyards mostly in the south (don't know if that matters) and none of them would ship a hood due to them always being damaged in transit.

I don't think who transports it matters near as much as the crate its packaged in, to be safe it would be a heavy duty and made of wood=$$$.

Considering every hatch and trunk is rotted out on 240's, I'd be willing to pay for a better service. Hell, those things started rotting in the late 90's. Then you factor in the real limited number of S13 trunks that were sold compared to liftbacks. I wouldn't go cheap, these things are freaking rare, and will become even more limited as the years go by.

Speedee? That place is slow, and why do they need to sit in Big Bend over night when I'm in Muskego. I hate that. I checked it on the tracker thing.
