Summer Job

Anybody know of a place hiring for the summer? Looking for something M-F and first shift. I student teach in the fall, so I only need something until mid-August. Somewhere around New Berlin is best because I don't want to throw my whole paycheck into my gas tank every week.

The MCZ is always looking at this time of year. Since none of the high schools are out your chance of getting in are pretty high. Older competent workers have a good chance in moving up the pay scale.

Yeah...I'm looking to pick-up extra work too. Preferably from like 11 am to 2pm, with 1 hour lunch break. Maybe $75-$125/hour (paid lunch too). If the job is close by I could go down to 60/hr. I don't mind driving out of area, though I may then do 10-2 and only work 4 days a week (would require an 1 1/2 hour lunch then). I have my bachelor's and Masters and managerial experience.

If anyone sees something, just shoot me a PM.

yeah I worked there last year as a parking person. I can maybe get you a job there with CPS parking I know the owner. Basically you sit on your ass all day long and get paid for it. Not to mention you get free parking right by the gate anyday of summerfest and you get in for free with your parking shirt. I was in the "owners lot" which was basically the owners of all the resturants that are in summerfest. ALOT of them forget there pass so we hook them up and they hook us up. It was a fun and I might do it again this year.

Never even heard of Solid Edge :confused At my job during the day I work with AutoCAD all the time...worked with some solidworks and ProE but Im farrrrrrrr from an expert with that. Are they willing to train?

Soild Works is pretty similar to Solid Edge. We are always willing to train. I have 4 EE interns from MSOE right now. We have ACAD and ACADE as well.

Well I had an interview yesterday and I got a call this morning that I got the job. You are looking at a school-age teacher for the West Allis Children's Center for their Summer Program! I am super, super, super excited as it will be great for my resume for teaching once I get my license in December. Sorry to bring this old thread back, but just wanted to share my good news! Only downside is that I don't start until right before the kids get off of school, but that just means I can celebrate my 21st birthday for a few extra days next week!
