yeah yeah,

GF wants to go this year and i would like to go to a good place. not some lousy little kiddy place. i would like to go somewhere in the woods and a decent time. maybe like 1-2 hours? if they do those. i went to one in wyoming a couple years back and it was great. but she has never gone. any good places anyone know of??? or at least where not to go?

We looked at the kettle moraine places...but for as much as my fiancee wants to ride, we've ended up co-boarding a 5y/o up in Germantown/caledonia area. 180/mo and she can ride 3-4x week. She only needed her own boots and treats...the rest is provided for.

the horse with the blonde mane, is that a Belgian?

I used to go to this place years ago http://www.sleepingdragonranch.com/ but we have horses in the family now that I ride. Not sure how Sleeping Dragon is now, but when I used to go it was pretty decent.

I love draft horses, my wife's parents have 2 Percheron, 2 Belgian, and a Clydesdale. They're kept at their ranch in California, here in wisconsin they have an Arabian and a Quarter. Mother-in-law offers carriage rides in downtown Cedarburg if anyone is interested
