-22.5 lbs ac system
-15lbs power steering system
-40lbs rear seat
-12lbs trunk carpet and pads
-28lbs spare tire and hardware
-5lbs jack
-7lbs pass. air bag
-5 lbs wing
-26 lbs moonroof delete
-30lbs rear bumper support
+180 me as driver
-some other lil stuff also, but you get the idea....

So race weight i expect to be right at 3000lbs, Now onto the graphs

STock block, stock head, stock cams, just bolt-ons, and AEM EMS, and a good tune.....suspension consists of solid motor mounts, solid trans mount, solid LCA's, traction bars, 24.5x8.5x15" slicks on motegi tracklite rims

NO knock, afr's in the low 11's, conservative timing, turbo is barely breathing at 25psi(it maxes out at 40)

problem is stock cams take a dump at like 5800rpms, stock intake if ported is pretty good to 6500rpms... Im gonna shift at 6600rpms this season and leave the line at 5500rpms building ~4psi

i wouldnt worry to much about it. the gm lnf block on the solstice, rl,cobalt ss/tc, hhr ss. redline about there and with some tuning and a few other bolt ons they managed to get like 380 hp and like 420 fpt.. but then again they are using a dual scroll turbo.:rolleyes:

you and me both:devil... the srt-4 head is extremely restrictive in stock fashion also....My tuner Aaron@realtune said we could easily make all the power in the world, but its not worth risking the stock bottom end. Shit he made 576 on this turbo on a stock bottom end at 32 psi, and a guy in utah made over 600 on a stock block 37r.... but people have also snapped rods at 400whp so who knows.. Im not gonna risk it til i build the engine.

I've got more Jugs coming in, but these make it a cake walk. Have one guy tilt the jug and then empty the the fuel into the jug and the jug has a plastic tube to pour right into the car tank. No spill, no mess, nothing! I just did it for a guy yesterday with 2 pails for his motorcycle.

trapped 120mph in a 2650# car (with driver) with pump gas
and 4yr old Falkens. I have cams here if you want to mix N

i never had a hard time dialing my cars in... fwd turbo 5speed i could run very consistant times even with a street tire. i'll have to admitt it is slightly easier with my car the way it is now BUT its a total custom built. theres not months and years of engineering involved in this car like your srt. i built it... so its only going to work as good as i can build it. (which so far seems to be working out real good!:thumbsup) i'm done so i'll see you on the 16th....

A neon is not my first choice if i wanted to build a car either, but i dont see many neons putting down power like im doing and gonna do so that is why i do it to be different and i Do like my car dont get me wrong...I get mid to high 20's gas mileage, the car is pretty reliable when me and joel dont mess stuff up:goof, and i can still run with the v8's.... Trust me, I love the rumble of a v8and the necksnapping torque, but i also like the nitrous like hit of a turbo... The reason i was bought my srt was the same as why i bought my 64 plymouth valiant and the 72 maverick grabber. I dont build cars that everyone and there mom thinks are cool. I would rather do something different from the main stream...

The mustang had a passenger in it...but i was not WOt shifting which in a turbo car is a huge deal(fall out of full boost)... Sucky clutch is still in the car:crying and i got another 80-120lbs i need to rip out of it soon:headbang...

Ya, 26" would be ideal, but as you stated i cant fit them the stock spring perch hits em..... and SRt's have ran high 10's/really low 11's on this slicks that wont be the problem....

Well i wanted to Chime in...i got to meet Ricky tonight....super easy going, nice guy. Another BCM/WISRT member that i've met that has been extremely nice! And btw....im sure most of you guys underestimate his car big time.....He took me for a ride and im damn sure it will suprise a large number of people. It might be a neon, but holy balls does it pull for under 500hp! 3100lbs does help though. Thanks again Rick, very nice car!

It was the coolest thing EVAR too, 2nd hit the rev limiter w/ massive spin and went to shift to 3rd and a huge fireball out the back lite up the car and dark back road then i took it up to 120 and shut it down..... It pulls ok on this tune ask your bro:rolf
