volkswagon baja beetle questions?

anybody here know anything about these little monsters? i found one thats a hell of a deal. and i believe im going to end up buying it. it idles rough and it probly needs a little carb ajustment,but its got the full baja kit springs shocks. role cage.. just currious if i should look out for certain things.. im planning on cleaning it up and doing a little off roading and on roading with it.

Contact PRESCOTT on the board...he's a VW beetle guy. I've only seen him working with drag beetles, but he may have insight and contacts regarding the info you seek.
