alright, i feel dumb asking this, but i got a queen size bed awhile ago, and combined with the mattress pad, it's pretty thick. the 2 different brands of sheets i have cover the thing fine, but i'm a slightly active sleeper. every like 5 days, i pull the damn mattress pad and sheet off the mattress. anyone have this problem? any ideas? i've tried tucking the shyt in all kinds of ways, nothing seems to help. i looked online for some sort of "tie downs" and found nothing. tired of pulling my mattress off the bed, re-tucking it all, etc.

Get rid off the mattress pad. Or are you "entertaining".

Adam does the same thing at night. Drives me nuts! I'm one of those people that have to have the sheets PERFECT before I go to bed. The fitted sheet is always off of the corners on his side.

same problem walmart used to have these straps that catch the sheet either side the corner and keep it on.... I haven't seen them recently tho

I have one of those pillow-top mattresses and it's just really thick.

Bed linens, what a ******* topic for a car forum.

I have the same problem, but alot of it is that the matress i have is like 18" thick, and the fitted sheets barely hook over the corners. I do have one set of sheets that are made for a thicker matress and they hook over the corners with plenty more extra. I don't seem to have that problem with those in particular.

The other thing you could try... use two regular sheets instead of a fitted sheet on the bottom, but put them on the bed sideways and tuck that shit in like all the way under the middle or something :) Just leave the "seam" where the two meet down by your feet so it doesn't catch on you and come untucked.

Last option, tear holes in the corners of all your sheets, and bungie cord them together in an X pattern under the bed :P

*EDIT* Or how bout satin sheets, if you cant "grip" them, maybe you won't tear them off the bed lol

Dan and I have a queen size bed but i have memory foam on it because the bed is not comfy so I had to add it. I always get kings size sheets or mattress pad because when you wash it and over time it will shrink so at least with getting the next size up you wont have to worry about the sheets pulling up on the corners.

also not a bad idea. i was thinking of trying super ghetto and grabbing some cheap ass suspenders and trying clipping them in each corner... afraid of ripping though

I use rubber sheets. Saves getting up in the middle of the night to piss. Plus it's like 1986 all over again and I have a water bed.

no, the trick is to whack off MORE so the sheet just glues itself to the mattress

They do have sheets that are deep pockets just for those types of beds with pillow types. I have those kind of sheets and never had a problem
