The amount has to do with your income. If you don't make a lot, you don't get a lot. Also, if you didn't get your tax return money direct deposited, you won't see yours till June or late May.

In order to get the full $600 you would have to have been liable for $600. My AGI for last year was $36Kish and my liability was only $344. So I get $344, plus $300 for each kid (2) =$944. If your liability was 0 but you made more than $3K you get $300. So this time around the more you make the more you get back. For once our gov. is not stealing from the rich to give to the poor.
