View Full Version : FS: 1998 Ford DMC Conversion Van

It's a 1998 E-150 DMC conversion van. Has the 5.4L motor in it with the tow package. Has 125k on it right now. We picked it up from an older couple in Palmyra and have all of their maintenance records on it and they were the original owner.

It has the blue/silver striping from DMC. Blue interior. Removable (and fold down to a small bed) bench seat in the back and two captain chairs in the center (also removable). Has a 10-disc CD changer under the passenger front seat.

Adam recently installed leaf spring helpers in the back to help with towing, but this van did very well with towing a 20 foot open car trailer and the '90 even before those were installed. It just doesn't sit as low in the back with the weight of the trailer.

New front brakes, new shocks all around, new spark plugs, and new fuel filter.

The bad - has a crack in the windshield from the middle of the passenger side to the center of the window. No leaks or anything like that and it isn't in the driver's view.

It will come ready to go for a brake controller, but we will need the brake controller for the other tow vehicle. You'll just have to plug your own in. We had the wiring installed at A+ Power Sports in Elkhorn when we bought the car trailer from them.

No, Bob, they do not. Adam just put the seats back in since we had them out since we pretty much got the thing. We stored a couple sets of tires/wheels in the back over winter.

BUT you can fit a full size queen bed mattress in the back. Learned that when we helped a friend move her stuff from her parent's house to an apartment. And when I moved most of my stuff from Whitewater to New Berlin.

I did all the wiring and insulation on this van and other misc stuff on it and can vouch for it being solid:thumbsup

Would give a reward if a BCM'er finds a buyer for it too. I want it gone quick because I keep finding trucks I like and I promised van would go before truck was purchased.
