I know that this might not fall under the majority of members definition of BREW CITY MUSCLE but I am personally a fan of pretty much anything that I can drive/ride. I was curious who also enjoys fun in the mud?

Used to. Then I moved to the land of no wheeling.

With the little tires (40s) in 2005 just before I started working for a living (and quit wheeling):

With the bigger tires (44s) last July just before I moved to Wisconsin (and parked it):

I have some friends that are into mudding...think one has a late 90's maybe 80's suburban. For me, I haven't been mudding or offroading yet.

Find out what year it is. My specialty is 73-91 SFA Chevys. Personally, I'd find a 87-91 K5 Blazer as a starting rig. Preferably 89 or newer. It's either that or a 85up 1 ton pickup.

Suburbans are kind of big to wheel unless you've got a family. They make good parts rigs though since they're usually unmolested.

we used to be big into it. had a 78 K5 with lincoln lockers front and rear on 35"s, the tired old motor had a horrible time spinning them, even in low. then i had a 88 K5 as a DD. I along with most prefer the shorter wheel base trucks for better approach and departure angels when crossing creeks or something like that. We didnt do much with IFS since it sucked tho.

I few of my friends are into that, they have quads and when I go with them I borrow one of theirs.....We used to go mudding all the time, however it was late night in what ever feild we could find untill the cops showed up....hell I even did it with a sunbird...that was classic

Nice job on the frontend.
By the looks of the pumpkins and the bolt pattern, I am guessing you are still running 1/2 ton axles?
Great for mud, but a serious climb will turn those axleshafts into shrapnel.
Let me know if you want to blow the dust off that beast and head up to the Pipeline for Memorial Day.
Its like a redneck, mouth-breathing Daytona Beach.
:thumbsup
