I know alot of people who use Shell Rotella T for both bikes and ATV's. It's technically designed to be used as a diesel oil so it doesn't have all the "Energy Saving" crap in it (that's no good for stuff with wet clutches). You can get 15W40 for like $9 a gallon or 5W40 synthetic for under $20 a gallon... Farm n' Fleet.

Whatever, It's your money.... You can buy the Mobil 1 or Honda GN-4 or whatever you want but you're not really gaining anything.

Do a search on gixxer.com or any of those bike sites.. tons of people have put 30K on their bikes running it from oil change #1.

A lot of NAPA's carry amsoil...I was going to run it in my bike but I tried the Mobil 1 10w40. Probably try amsoil the next oil change.

And yes I have noticed a big difference between Synthetic and regular...at least with my bike. Power wise? No, but it does shift smoother and seems to just be a smoother ride overall.

The 954's have a lot of engine noise naturally, and it seemed to quiet it down a little too. I've heard decent things about Rotella because its cheap dyno oil because it doesn't have the energy saving crap like 4EYED said...but it also lacks any friction additives.

ive run shell rotella T full synth in both my TL1000R (10,000) miles and my zx-10r and have no problems, shift smooth as butter with no clutch slippage and my bikes told me they love it...........
