I pulled a STANMAN today..

I was asked to take a guy for a ride today in the Cobra..

When I give rides I try to make it a fun one.. So, I stoped to do a nice 2nd gear burnie and I rev it up and let the cluch out.. The car wants to stall.. So, I push the cluch in and really rev it up and dump the cluch.. Well the motor revs up but something doesn't feel right.. Well as the motor is sitting at 6k RPMS for only a few seconds I look at the speedo and see its reading 0..

Yup, I was sitting there smoking my cluch.. :3gears:

60% of me feels totally stupid for leaving a big puff of smoke behind the car that wasn't from rubber..

38% of me is worried I fried my cluch..

2% of me thinks people should post fail pictures because....... Well......... I FAILED!

Yeah, you're clutch is done. Time to look for an aftermarket one. And maybe an aluminum flywheel too while you're in there.
