This is my 2007 set up, im in the process of getting it ready for this year. 50 shot of N20, lightweight lexan body, slp pipe, it ran a 10.30 last year but will be in the 9's this year with the new set up and still use it all winter

Very cool. What other mods do you have. I don't have the $$$ for a asphalt set up but I'm running a 40 shot on a 240 hp cpr engine. I always thought asphalt would be a blast but have no time in the summer. I am assuming that you run at GLD and probably know Jeff Simon. I will probably be picking up one of his packages for a rx1 for this next season. I think he might still have the world record at like 7.90 or 7.80 at 170. He has got some nuts sleds.

it is an 800, I run down at gld most of the time and we occasionally go to michigan as well. There isnt to much more done to it, motor is all stock still, just a few little odds and ends bolted on. I do know jeff simon, i dont know if he still has the record, i dont think he was able to back it up. He does have the yamaha turbo stuff figured out pretty well though. You need to get down there and try the asphalt out, you can find a used set of skis and a decent track for about $600-800. Thursday nights all the sled guys run a cash bracket race that is super fun and has a really good payout

AMsnow.com has some super good forums on it. Pretty much any sled can be set up for it and be competitive. Donny(modmachz) can get tracks and parts and has a sled thats in the 8's. He is a super good source for info. The basic set up of skis and a track will run you about 1000 new but you can find used stuff fairly cheap.
