I just like the bike. not really caring what others say, but everything has been positive. LOTS of stares. Even the other bike guys have said beautiful bike as I was cruising alone last night.

I do gotta say, I miss the hell out of riding. It was always something that helped calm things down because you had to be focused on all the other assholes around you. Makes all the shittiness of the day go away.

So here's the pics... Couple of things I want to do to it. Want to put the other rotor/caliper back on the front since previous owner did the swingle rotor conversion. I just don't feel comfortable street riding it like that since I already had an issue with hauling the bike down from a higher speed. The rear tire has NO bite whatsoever, so trying to find out what may work the best. Probably do a new front tire at the same time. I'm debating whether to leave the front all black, or at the very least just get the black chrome hayabusa logo for the front fairings to match the "suzuki" on the tank and the "gsx1300r" on the back tail. What do you guys think?

Very nice bike, I am a 100% Busa owner!!!!!! As for the tire, I went with the Shinko 005 for both of my Busa's....

Shinkos are what the busa guys run because they are a good straight line track tire. If you want a good all around tire, go with a Diablo Super Corsa 3 or Dunlop Qualifier.

Nice looking bike Chris, are you going to leave it slammed or bring it back to stock height? You will like how it handles much better at stock height. I like it all black :)

Shinko 003 (Ultra-Soft) would be the track tire, Shinko 005 is the all around tire.

I'm thinking about doing the black rear wheel. Would like kinda cool all blacked out. When I get my adjustable rear sets, those will be an anodized black instead of the chrome ones on there now.

I'm gonna leave it slammed like it is. I did buy it to go drag racing with more so than corner carving. Been there done that with my old '97 750 gixxer. I was amazed at how well the bike did handle for how it is set up. Always room for improvement obviously.

the stretch is just about 4-5". so nothing major. if i went any longer, than I'd have to buy the tail pieces to match, and i don't feel like spending money on that part yet.

The bike does look better in person. Even with the chrome wheel. it's all braided line for clutch/brakes. just the exhaust and the velocity stacks and airbox mod. have to look into the power commander or something else along those lines for tuning. runs really well as it is. no hiccups or stalls or hard starts. 2nd gear roll on was SAWEET. did my first 1st gear roll on to a quick half throttle and the thing just started spinning, haha.

i needed to talk to you about a patch for a jacket ;)

funny thing about the height, when i get ON it, it's ******* LOW!!! if i try and click second on a left hand turn from a stop light, my toe drags. if i hit any of the little bumps on the street, that under fairing part bounces and hits the street, hahah

Ahhh.... Here we go...

First, Dump the swingarm extension, its doing nothing but hurting the bikes handleing.

Second, Get it back up to factory height and have me tune the suspension, I bet it corners like a turd right now.

Third, When you dump the extension do not forget to get new sprockets as well as a new chain. If you run just a new chain it will wear unevenly with worn sprockets.

And as far as the single caliper conversion.... :rolf

Fourth, get a GPR stabilizer for it.

Have fun, keep it right side up.

hahaha, stabilizer is on the way.

not really concerned with ultimate corner handling ability at this point. just concentrating on actually being ON the bike

There are none..... Period. Even what we have of "twisties" are garbage.

But between RA and Blackhawk, there are plenty of places to give bikes hell.

I hardly EVER ride on the street anymore.

Tony, you think the roads are bad here? Wisconsin has some of the best roads in the midwest. You want bad, go to Florida. Flat and straight, straight and flat. Thats it.

that thing looks badass! if you were gonna do decals on it i would have a decal shop do the factory decals in a flat/matte black that would look pretty mean. But yeah love the all black, be careful outthere.

Looks good chris...be careful too.

Honestly, that's one bike I'd never even begin to test the limits of...it'd just be a bad-ass cruiser b/w my legs.

I guess maybe because i've ridden for a good number of years and did ALOT of stupid stuff, that because i treat this one with respect, it doesn't seem too bad. yes, if you give it hell, it'll lay a patch like a turbo car when it comes on. it's all in the wrist responsibility :)

i like that matte black idea!!! thanks Flickster!

Mmmm black chrome wheels! That would be nice. Looks good, Yea I agree it needs that other rotor. You are going to need that extended arm on there for the power it's going to have. Far from worthless...
