Drift Day 21 registration is now up. DD21 will take place at a new venue for ClubFR, Milwaukee Mile! This event will be round 2 of the Midwest Cup Series. The beginning of the day will consist of a short practice for the competition, then we will go directly into competition until the number one driver is picked. While the competition is taking place there will be one or two track layouts still open for those deciding to not compete. All drivers who are currently not advanced drivers must go through the beginner course before joining practice for the competition.

Milwaukee Mile will allow us to have 2 course layouts (possibly 3), there will be the main road course setup (3rd gear!), and a skid pad in the pit area. Drivers will be split up in three groups (beginner, and novice/advanced). All drivers will have to go out on the skidpad and pass a figure 8 test before moving on to the road course. Keep in mind staff has the right to send you back a level if you are damaging the track.

As a reminder this is still a regular drift day. Whether you are competing or not, you will still have most of the day as a regular drift day. Only the beginning will be a competition.

Instructors will be on hand all day, feel free to ask them for assistance if you want it.

Here is the aerial map and the proposed course layout, still need to test, but this seems to be the best layout. After your run, go around the bank as a cool down lap (not drifting it), the long lap should help the flow quite a bit.

Green line = yes, drifting line, looks like to start from the oval's front straight and into the infield and the red is where you don't drift, but exit the course. (Advanced course)

The Green circled area is for the figure-8 and maybe a short course. (Novice/Beginner course(s) )

Where you will be doing your drifting at the event will be determined by the staff.

Yes it will be the road course, we will not be doing the oval, although we can.... I spoke to JR about it, half of you would die on it... He said its 110-120 mph entries, exits around 110, straight fourth, half of you have limiters

It will strictly be reserved for those who are advanced, and caged, etc..
