thats an optical illusion, the front wheel wells are MUCH higher than the rear, so when the back tires are tucked and the front wheels have a gap, its actually sitting level , mine was the same way

Yep, Gen1 SHOs are not purchased for the flowing lines :thumbsup

I cut my teeth modding cars on a 1991 SHO, loved that thing. Loudest freakin car I have ever owned :D

Yeah, I would suggest actually seeing the car in person before making judgments based on a picture.

Yeah, I would suggest not being a b!tch to somebody who's asking honest questions about your bf's car.

But hey, that's just me.

I've seen it plenty of times before. 4th gens aren't true dual anyhow, so going to a single exit is actually more efficient. The other option is to run a whole new true dual setup.

hey hey, settle down, she drives that thing more than he does!

and if you look at the pic, you can see theres a line that runs about 3 inches below the windows, and if you look at the front wheel well, and the rear wheel well, you'll see the front is alot closer to that line than in the rear, either way, i miss mine sometimes, but then other times i think about the hassle that car was and wanna punch a baby

Regardless, I could do without the attitude.

I've been around a few stock first gen SHOs before and hadn't noticed the difference in the wheel wells. Lowering them must really bring it out.

Most 1st gen SHO's (or most ANY Ford product for that matter) with original springs suffer from serious ride height loss on all 4 corners. I have actually seen people install lowering springs and it either doesn't change the ride height at all or actually RAISES it.....:stare

Factory Ford springs FTL...!!! :loser

yes,
remove Muffler
and install pipe
and thats what you get.
there is Only ONE pipe coming from the y-pipe back and over the axle.
just get rid of the muffler, and install pipe to get to back bumper!
:)

I would suggest getting to know someone before starting to call names, but whatever. Obviously you haven't been around very many Gen I's or Taurus' in general otherwise you would be well aware of the SAS (Saggy Ass Syndrome). The rear tires actually sit in the wheel wells completely when lowered or when going around the track - we were feeling some tire rub coming into 12. The fenders have already been rolled on the '90 when the previous owner painted the car, in order to clear a larger tire and wheel combination as well as it being lowered. Even on my daily driver '01 Taurus the lower end will sag on original springs/struts. I replaced my stock stuff with Eibachs and KYBs and the back remained the same height.

But hey, you are a young kid who knows all. Oh yeah, he is my fiance, not boyfriend. Get it right. :goof

Pretty much all gen 1 SHO's sag in the rear. Some more then others. Yes it looks weird but theres nothing I can do about it besides getting coil overs.
