Custom Guitar Hero songs

how do tou customize songs like adding songs that they don't have. I saw a video on youtube for Walk Away on Guitar Hero 2:confused:feedback:

You need a mod chip for you ps2. You then download the required programs and learn how to make the note chart for the song.

The thing about it is they dont always synch right, the song names dont show up on the game, and even if you miss a note the song continues to play.
