in reality, if you think of the $$ thats sunk into that thing. and its only clipping off a high 10. it kinda makes you wonder if its worth it. hands down its cool and is different but. ET-$$ im sure its not.

What if you look at it like, he can pull a 4k lbs trailer and still run mid 11's? That is pretty sick.

What? It isn't expensive to make Hondas go fast. I have a friend who had a 12 sec N/A CRX and I know somebody right now who has a 12 second four door, also N/A. Neither of those cars had expensive builds, either. Just cheap swaps, not the K engine or whatever that really expensive one is.

12s is quite a bit cheaper than 10s/9s

id love to go peg a dyno or go to the track run the same et as my car, hook my trailer on with the car drive it to the fuel station fill it up at the pump and get 15mpg loaded on the drive home knowing if i rolled on the go pedal theres 700+hp there lol whats better then that?

ahh i have more toys then my truck lol racing motocross all summer long takes alot of my money. my vp44 injection pump cant produce the fuel to pull over 700hp with out a race pump and it would lose some of drivability let alone cost me $2800 just for the pump:alcoholic i can convert it to a p-pump which this truck has and make endless power for around $2000 but cuz its mechanical its a pita to tune to be a daily driver on a swaped 24v it can be done. id be better off buying an older mechanical 12v cummins to build or a cp3 2003+ truck:devil

I was simply pointing out that I know of some very quick Hondas. Again, those were N/A. Imagine what a turbo would do.

it would cause them to miss shift and brake half shafts. 12s is quick, but remember that the thing probably weighs just a cunt hair over 2000 lbs.

12's isn't very quick. maybe to a foxbody owner it is. When I owned my fox, I thought 12's was amazing :rolf :rolf :rolf

f'n hillbillies...

Ill never understand why people try to make there PICKUP look like a Semi........Some people do it to get their smoke above the towed load...then some competive diesel drag racers do it to keep the smoke out of the lights.

Some dodges will do it to recreate one of the most successful muscle trucks, the "lil red express" Dodges of 78-79.

we did it to the the plow truck at work, 94 3500 single rear wheel cummins, because the tail pipe kept getting bent when backing into snowbanks, that and it's cool to watch the smoke come out the stacks

What advantage does going to the 12V head have over the 24V? Is it a strength/duratbility issue?

yup. but this time it actually relates to me too. I'm not even joking, when I owned a fox, I thought 12's was fast, dead serious. I'm typing this with a dull expression on my face, not a shit eating grin

well for pulling the rule is exhaust has to be pointing UP or DOWN incase the turbo lets go, and a 6" floppy **** looking turn down hangin off the back looks even gayer. I did stacks because i was sick of cleaning the black shit off the side of my truck and my bumper. Also i dont like rolling up to a light and rolling on the coal in to the car next to mes window for no reason. DAMN do i wish sometimes it was side exit to do that to the asshats.

the smoke comes from too much unburned fuel.....ie bigger injectors/advanced timeing/ect

We do it for a reason. Because its bad ass!

it only makes sense to me that BURNED fuel makes more power than unburned fuel.:thumbsup

Ive herd people argue this point time after time. if unburnt fuel made more HP then why not pull your turbos off and throw you nitrous in the garbage. that should mean huge HP numbers then since you will have tons of smoke rite

well ur mostly right. the added fuel spools a bigger turbo and the bigger u go the more fuel they will add creating the black smoke. in a normal high horsepower situation the fuel is being forced out of the motor so fast it doesnt burn entirely creating the black smoke. most trucks make more hp with unburnt fuel on a fuel only situation. u can add water meth and or Nitrious to burn the fuel more efficient. my buddys 06 smokes like frieght train on fuel but with nitrious it will only haze a bit after the 60ft but doesnt have enough fuel to keep a larger turbo spooled.
