View Full Version : FWD LSD ( Quafie ) local installation ?

Just dropped to much $ on a Quafie LSD for my neon for my Newb ass to install and shim it up a **** it up. I would rather have a tranny GOD install and shim it up.

I'm looking for somebody that has installed LSD'S in FWD trannys. No 1st timers :rolf

LOL....watch out for those diff pins..damn chrysler crap..

i need a LSD bad, but im spending all my mod savings on a newer car.

With the quafie setup there no diff pin to worry about, but yes I know what your talking about.

i'd take it to King Motorsports personally. they have built so many badass honda's over the years your almost dumb not to.

I've done them in cavalier getrag and isuzu transmissions...... but never a chrysler.

Did those require setting a pre-load on them to check what size shims are needed ?

I wonder if Joel(05 orange blast) has done this... he has took apart every neon in the area and put them back together at some point...
