What is your second choice for a Busa color? Red "X" is way too limited edition for you to be able to get your hands on.

Chris if you want a busa, I have a buddy selling an 07 black and red one for dirt cheap. I can see if he still has it. I rode his last year and it's definately a comfy bike. Let me know.

I loved mine when I had it. I want to get another one. I am not the crazy corner carving type. I just wanted a comfortable ride.

Sorry guys, stupid pic works for me thanks to COOKIES :) hahah

anyways, I'd prefer the copper/silver, but am a little bit open.

I used to have my '97 GSX-R750 and it was fun, but I'm not into doing all the stupid stand up wheelies and can-can's down the freeway anymore. Just want something quick for the drag strip, yet semi-comfortable for the ride into work.

i think that's what caused the bike thing.... couldn't find anything decent popping up anywhere. I missed out a couple of weeks after deciding to hold off on the car through winter... there was like 5-6 that went for dirt cheap that all looked like REALLY nice cars.

thanks, i did do a search at couple of the local places. RT&T seemed to have quite a few. All Pro had 2-3, Cedar Creek had a couple too. I kinda like the white versions, but just still seeing what's out there. not worth it to pay extra for "limited" :) to me

If you run anything slower then a 10.50 with a stock busa you need to just put your helmet and gloves back in the closet and sell the bike.

the color is horrible. i'm talking stance. that one at 8" isn't too bad w/ the +6 tail section

Breecher_7
04-10-2008, 08:31 PM
Just keep it stock length, Strap the forks and dogbone the rear shock. Unless you are gonna turbo the bike, you dont NEED a swingarm. The bike is heavy enough to not need one at stock or near stock power. Learn to ride the ***** and you will be fine. Id be willing to put money down that I could match whatever time you run with a extention with just lowering and strapping. Its just not nessasary.

Crawlin
04-11-2008, 09:06 AM
i bet you could too, but then again experience is a huge thing.

Breecher_7
04-11-2008, 04:05 PM
Honestly Chris, it doesnt take much talent to launch the thing in a straight line. All that takes is having no fear of the bike. Road racing is what takes skill.

Crawlin
04-11-2008, 04:18 PM
i know. but still takes SOME practice :)

Thats very weak for a turbo busa. Not to mention thats a bit pricey for a salvage title bike.
