I want to get rid of my tiny little Flowmaster tips and get some nice ones welded in place..

Do you guys recommend a place?

What kind of tips were you considering getting? It might be cheaper to take the tips with you as apposed to having them order you some.

Might want to check at autozone and find what style you like. Then buy them yourself online.

I ordered mine from merlins and had them welded on in waukegan. does you no go that far away possibly but I trust only that waukegan shop.

I went to Wisconsin Muffler on 38th & Lincoln. They redid the tailpipes on my car and welded in the Magnaflow tips. I would definitely recommend them.

I hate my Magnaflow tips as they are not rolled and you can hardly tell they are there when viewing the car from the rear. I need to find some nice rolled tips someday.

Do you remember how long ago you had them done and/or do you remember who actually welded them...???

Thanks for the help guys.. I will check some of these places out.. I think I like the non-rolled tips better.. The rolled ones look too fat..

That was my buddy Mike who did your tips, and the 'tall' guy you're talking about is Don who is the owner.....

^I used to take my queeralier there to have the work done to it when I owned the chevy thing. I just trust them and had only 1 issue and they fixed it. Actually my catback tip came off going down the road and got all knarled up. I told them I wanted 4" rolled anyway and the Don guy took care of me. Treated them with respect and I got that back.

They treat my car with care when putting on lift and request a parking lot burnout everytime I leave. I actually almost stalled the car the first time cause I was all nervous with their whole shop watching and I only had the car 2 weeks. :wooo

^^^ That's good to hear...!!! Mike did ask me if it was the car in which the tip fell off.....:rolf

Unfortunately Mike is now only working down there once in a blue moon as he got a job with the Oak Creek Water Department. Don is a great guy and is still running the show there; he has helped me out a number of times.....

If that shop wasn't almost an hour from me I'd be working there.....:headbang
