I am planning on ordering it for Xbox 360, I hope this Xbox only downloadable content makes it worth it. If it is I will actually buy my own Xbox 360, if not I may buy a PS3.

I've been pre-ordered since last October. As far as I've heard lately the exclusive content for 360 is a myth. That was rumored to be a reward for pre-ordering but the reward is just gamer pics. One of the coolest things I've read about this game is that it has not HUD. Everything is accessed through your cell phone. You also have the ability to make your own "on the fly" cut scenes as you play. The guy I talked to at Gamestop who was at the Austin gaming conference said GTA IV was absolutely mind blowing and he has seen it first hand so I am really excited to get my hands on it April 29th.

Does anyone else HATE the driving in the game? I swear every car can't make a turn faster than 20mph without handbraking and doing a 270* turn the opposite way and they all catch air at 30mph on every hill. Is there some option to turn the car physics and control back to the older games or something?

Picked mine up last night. Def fun but trying to figure out how to get all the missions, at this point just running around robbing people.

Also, when I am in the car I show I have a sub machine gun but when I get out of the car it goes away.

Documentation is shit for this game.

If you don't have a gun as your active weapon, just your fist, when you get out of the car it goes back to the fist. Click the left or right button to select your weapon and it should be there.

I'm still on the first island, but I did make it to the second. Busted through all the roadblocks on a chopper and I got through to the other island. Then i crashed and got machine gunned down in short order lol. Starting to get the hang of driving now. I think my problem is that I'm used to digital buttons and I always have the brakes and the gas floored. Makes a HUGE difference in the way the cars react for turns. Anyone sit and watch TV in the aprtment yet? I was too excited to sit there and watch shit lol.

Lately I've been killing a bunch of cops at my apartment, collecting all their ammo then running in my bed and going to sleep :) When I wake up they are gone.

if you do the Little Jacob missions then he'll start calling you to hang out. After he likes you over 75% you can call him and he'll tell you to meet him somewhere and you can buy guns out of the back of his car for next to nothing. the Micro SMG was $20. He has the sawed off, molotovs, the pistol, and body armor.
